ParticipantHi, where are you on the updated docs for Facebook and LinkedIn? I need this functionality.
Michael Hainsworth
ParticipantI can’t increase the amount of eligible posts because I don’t have more posts that are eligible, anyway. The content that’s being reshaped is time sensitive and I would only upset my followers by retweeting old content.
Could you please change that reshare logic.
If the plugin says “no duplicates within X days” it shouldn’t duplicate within X days.

ParticipantI’d love to see the logic go:
IF custom message(1…2…3…) exists THEN use that INSTEAD of post title.
That’s where i see the real value on CRP. The only complaint I get is that the articles repeat too quickly — yet if the custom message was the replacement for the post title, I could write a dozen variations of the post title to make the Twitter feed seem fresh.
Any chance you could offer some suggested PHP code I could replace as an ad-hoc solution until the team considers it?
Thanks, and all the best for the new year,

ParticipantFantastic!

ParticipantUnfortunately I can confirm that’s not happening.
I set up a separate category titled “News” to ensure that time-sensitive articles which might be out of date would not be auto-reshared.
I had an article about the San Bernadino shooting set as both “Music” and “News” and the @GeeksandBeats account Post Filter set to include Music but exclude News.
When I hit “Reshare Now” the plugin still tweeted the San Bernadino post anyway (I immediately manually deleted it).

ParticipantHey, Kyle,
I see the latest update to Content Resharer Pro now pulls the custom messages I’ve included in my post! Yay! Unfortunately it’s also still including the existing post headline, and sometimes leads to “status too long” errors. Can I set up CRP to tweet only the custom message or the original headline, not both?
Also, feature request: ability to configure how many days of no-repeats. I’m finding the 1, 3 and 7 days hard-coded limiting.
thanks! Great work!

ParticipantNo global messages. Only on a per-post basis. I also don’t really understand the global message idea. I want to promote posts. Wouldn’t a global message be too generic? Most importantly, though, is there a configuration step I’m missing for custom messages on posts that’s leading the plugin to ignore the custom messages I’ve created in favour of the post title?
