    Hello Tony, unfortunately, currently we do not have a quick solution for this. If you try disabling the WP Super Cache plugin, does the Author Stats Pro plugin go back to working normally?

    Hello Ali – We apologize for the late reply. We seemed to miss the support ticket notification.

    Since all themes are built differently and created by various developers, your website structure may be unique compared to most standard WP sites. Luckily, we anticipated such a scenario and it requires a very simple step to address issues with clickable zones or background takeover images being visible for specific WordPress themes. Please follow the instructions below:

    1. Go to your All Ads page and scroll down until you see a box labeled Advanced Settings.
    2. Open this setting box and change the Main DOM Element for clickable area from body to .x-root
    3. Click Save Settings.

    Please let us know if there is anything else we can help you with today. All the best.

    Hello Tony – Do you have staging server, with an exact replica of the production environment, where we can login to make changes to narrow down on the exact problem?

    We are unable to replicate the same issue with WP Super Cache on our end. We tried installing both plugins on multiple environments but there seem to be no changes.

    Thank you,
    Jay

    Hello Tony –

    If you deactivate the WP Super Cache plugin – Then does the Author Stats Pro plugin work correctly again? We just want to make sure if it’s a plugin conflict issue or not

    Hello Tony, We are looking into the possible reasons the stats would not be updating. When you go to the plugin Stats Dashboard – Click on “View User Stats” – Change Filters to make sure that the date range contains all the posts within them > Does this screen show the correct number of posts on the top for the particular user?

    Hello David – We see from the screenshots that the expired date has expired. Please update the expiry/end date of the background. Then you should be able to see the background image.

    Hello David – Is the plugin currently active on the website with the DOM element as body? We would like to test it.

    Hello – For Twenty Twelve – The DOM element is body itself.

    Any of the basic WordPress themes will be okay to test with! You might have to change the DOM element.

    Hello David – Is the plugin currently active on your site – We would like to test it with the DOM element as #page.

    You should be able to upload the images in our plugin without any issue.

    If you are still facing the issue – please try debugging for a plugin or theme conflict.

    After exhausting all other forms of debugging it might be best to check for plugin or theme conflicts.  Plugin or theme conflicts can cause our product to function unexpectedly or not at all, which is why testing for this conflict is very important.

    We recommend that you perform this test on your staging site and that you backup your site.  If you do not have a staging site then you might not be able to perform this test as deactivating plugins or your theme will greatly impact the look and functionality of your site.

    Before you perform this test please make sure you have the latest version of our productWordPress and PHP.

    1. Deactivate all other plugins on your site besides our plugin
    2. Test to see if the plugins features work as you would expect.  If they do work then you have a plugin conflict.  You should now activate each plugin on your site one by one until our plugin’s features do not work.  This will help you determine what plugin exactly is causing the conflict.
    3. If our product still is not functioning properly, then you can try to deactivate your theme to see if there is a theme conflict.  This is a last resort and should only be done if you have a staging site or your site has not gone live yet.  If our product works after deactivating your theme then you have a theme conflicts, but if our product still does not work then it appears that our product has a bug.
    4. If you have completed all of these tests and our product does not function properly with a default WordPress theme like twenty seventeen and all plugins deactivated, then it seems that our product has a bug and we will continue to work with you to solve this issue.

    Please let us know if you have any questions about this conflict testing procedure.

    Hello Brian – We apologize for the late reply!

    All of the properties/functionalities that you inquired about are currently not supported by our plugin. However, there are alternatives/CSS changes that can help achieve the results for most.

    Your suggestions are actually on our to-do list, and we will be looking to include quite a few in the upcoming updates to the plugin.

    – restrict certain users from showing in the stats list
    Ans: This would not be possible with our plugin – however you can choose to display/restrict the page to certain users. You can make sure that the filters are set to display the stats you want and then you can hide the filter using CSS

    – remove the comments column (not used on the site)
    Ans: You can use CSS to hide this column – using the td:nth-child css property

    – remove the id number
    Ans: You can use CSS to hide this particular element

    – remove the role
    Ans: You can use CSS to hide this column – using the td:nth-child css property

    – remove the “view stats” link as you need to be logged in to view the link anyways
    Ans: You can use CSS to hide the element

    – remove the option for filters (it will only confuse people)
    Ans: You can use CSS to hide this element.

    – always show stats for all time
    Ans: This is not possible directly with our plugin

    – have the table show natively in a page (without a scroll bar) https://www.screencast.com/t/PqnTuCcyy – this would avoid dualing scroll bars (one for the page and one for the content within the page)
    Ans: You can use CSS to avoid this:

    .nnr-as-table-container {
    max-height: none;
    overflow-y: auto;
    }

    Hope this helps,
    Thank you,
    Jay

    Hello Aaron – We are seeing the site a bit differently. Also, we cannot see the plugin active with the DOM element as .boxed_html. Can you please confirm the website link?

    Hello @Aaron – It seems like the full width element is actually the HTML tag. Please change the DOM element to .boxed_html.

    Please let me know if this helps,

    Thank you

    Hello Clayton – The template we provided is an example template that helps you build your ad background images. Every website will have a different look on different screen sizes. Therefore, no image will fit perfectly for all screen sizes. Based on YOUR website structure, you would have to edit the PSD to make sure it fits/displays perfectly at the lowest screen-size you would like to display the advertisement on so that it adjusts best at higher screen sizes. However, we have initiated a refund on our end. It should reflect in your account in 8-10 business days.
