    Hello Jaroslav,

    Can you please provide a snippet from your Adsense ads?

    To help troubleshoot, could you try this:

    1. Create a new Third Party Ad
    2. Set the Third Party Ad Code to <h1>This is generated by Ads In Posts</h1>
    3. Under AD Options section, set the same settings as the previous ads you added and are not working

    After doing this, please let me know if you can see the following text on your posts:

    This is generated by Ads In Posts

    Thank you

    Hello – Welcome to the community :)

    Since all themes are built differently and created by various developers, your website structure may be unique compared to most standard WP sites. Luckily, we anticipated such a scenario and it requires a very simple step to address issues with clickable zones or background takeover images being visible for specific WordPress themes. Please follow the instructions below:

    1. Go to your All Ads page and scroll down until you see a box labeled Advanced Settings.
    2. Open this setting box and change the Main DOM Element for clickable area from body to #main_wrapper .page, #main_wrapper .blog
    3. Click Save Settings.

    Please let us know if there is anything else we can help you with today. All the best.

    By disabling this setting, Content Resahrer Pro will not attempt to upload the featured image, but your post will still have an image since Facebook will automatically fetch it from the URL.

    3. Go to the Content tab
    4. Uncheck the “Include Featured Image” checkbox

    Lastly, click on the “Save” button at the top right corner.

    Please, let me know if this fixes the issue for you.

    Hey Paul,

    There’s no functionality to clear the stats.

    An alternative can be to duplicate your Optin and then deactivate/delete the old one.

    You can add this code snippet by installing our Header Footer Code Manager plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/header-footer-code-manager/

    Once you’ve installed the plugin follow these steps:

    1. Go to your WordPress dashboard > Header Footer Code Manager > All Snippets
    2. Click on the “Add New Snippet” button.
    3. Choose any a name for your snippet (i.e: “CSS fix for scrolling”).
    4. Copy the code snippet below and paste it into the “Snippet / Code” text area.

    Snippet / Code:

    <style>
    body {
        height: auto !important;
    }
    </style>

    Now save the snippet and check if you can click on the background ad after scrolling.

    Please let me know if this fixes your issue.

    Mohammad,

    Looks like there is a plugin conflict. Plugin or theme conflicts can cause our product to function unexpectedly or not at all, which is why testing for this conflict is very important.

    We recommend that you perform this test on your staging site and that you backup your site. If you do not have a staging site then you might not be able to perform this test as deactivating plugins or your theme will greatly impact the look and functionality of your site.

    • Deactivate all other plugins on your site besides our plugin
    • Test to see if the plugins features work as you would expect. If they do work then you have a plugin conflict. You should now activate each plugin on your site one by one until our plugin’s features do not work. This will help you determine what plugin exactly is causing the conflict.
    • If our product still is not functioning properly, then you can try to deactivate your theme to see if there is a theme conflict. This is a last resort and should only be done if you have a staging site or your site has not gone live yet. If our product works after deactivating your theme then you have a theme conflicts, but if our product still does not work then it appears that our product has a bug.
    • If you have completed all of these tests and our product does not function properly with a default WordPress theme like twenty twelve and all plugins deactivated, then it seems that our product has a bug and we will continue to work with you to solve this issue.

    Please let us know if you have any questions about this conflict testing procedure.

    Hello Ray,

    Welcome to the community! :)

    Sorry for the late reply, I’ve been trying to figure out what could be causing this permission issue but still need to troubleshoot more.

    To manually update the plugin, FTP is a good and easy method. Here’s a quick guide:

    1. Download the plugin from the customer dashboard (as you already did).
    2. Extract the plugin somewhere on your computer, it should create a new folder named wpsite-background-takeover.
    3. Upload the folder wpsite-background-takeover to /wp-content/plugins/ and replace everything.

    After following these steps you will have the new version installed, without losing your current configuration or ads you have created.

    Let me know if I can help you with anything else today!
