    Hi,

I am having a problem with getting Firebar to not appear. Originally it was staying visible even after entering my email address, selecting the close icon in top right and browsing between pages.

I then updated from version 2 to 3.0.3 and changed to using Aweber for collection rather than WordPress and things seemed to improve a bit. I can now enter an email address and it will no longer show for that person. However if I just try to hide it using the close icon it will still reappear even after the update.

Ideally I believe there should be an option to allow a user to hide the bar completely, including not seeing the icon at all. Maybe that could go in as a feature request? For now id be happy to just be able to close it and it not keep appearing for anyone who did not want to enter any info.

Can you help? Its installed here – http://emhol.staging.wpengine.com/

    Best regards,
    Niall

    Hi Kyle,

Thats great, good to hear :) – Which bit are you working on? The ability to completely hide the stub? or the ability to hide the bar after closing across all pages?

Are you saying that its expected behaviour what I described above with the current release?

    Many thanks,
    Niall

Currently the team is working on a feature that will allow you to never show the stub. When the user clicks the hide icon the entire FireBar will be hidden and the stub will not not show.

Also, there will be a feature that allows you to specific whether the FireBar should be shown again if the user clicks on the the hide icon. This way you can display a FireBar once on your site and if a user hides it, then it will never show again for that user.
