    Hello,

I’m having a problem figuring out the size I need for the ads. I downloaded the template already and it’s too small. I played around in photoshop with it, but it doesn’t quite fit so I tried stretch and it blows it out to the point that the side ads don’t show up.

Any help would be great since there are just too many forum posts about this to go through.

    Hello Dustin,

    Welcome to the Community :)

Lets first makes sure you have the correct DOM element in the Advanced settings before we help with your image size since you do have a custom theme.

    Please follow the instructions below:

    1. Go to your All Ads page and scroll down until you see a box labeled Advanced Settings.
    2. Open this setting box and change the Main DOM Element for clickable area from body to .main-wrapper
    3. Click Save Settings.

Once you complete this you should see your Ad within the content of your site. Please let me know once you completed this.

    Hi Kyle,

I’ve completed the steps. I tried a new ad, currently the demo one that’s recommended and it’s not showing up at all now. I checked on three browswers and cleared my caches.

I see the Ad on your site for all three browsers: Safari, Google Chrome and Firefox. Please double check that your local cache is cleared.

Ah, I see it now. I’m still having problems with the stretch. I turned that one and scroll.

Ok I see. Please try to set your background color to white and the stretch to NO. This will help the image to look good no matter the screen size.

Okay, I did that. On my screen it gets partially covered up by the main content. Is the sample size the best fit then or do you have any other recommendations for size?

Thank you for your help Kyle.

Yes I have a recommendation for the image width you should have :)

Please make sure the middle part of your image (i.e. the white part on the current image you are using) is 1140 pixels wide. This should fit your site perfectly :)

    Kyle,

Thank you! Can I ask what size the ad boxes are as well?

    You’ve been great!

    You’ve been great!

    Thanks :)

Can I ask what size the ad boxes are as well?

What do you mean by the Ad boxes? Are you you referring to the left and right banners on the sides of the Ad? If yes, then we recommend you have them anywhere from 300 pixels to 500 pixels depending on how much data you want to show to your users. Our image is the ideal width so I would start there.
