    Hi, when i call the plugin via shortcode in a post, it ignores parameters like author, categories,date,comments when i choose ‘async’ =”true”.

    however, when i choose async =”false”, it displays normally, as it should be.
    i want it to be displayed as normal in async=”true” also.thanks.
    here sthe code i was using.

    [nnr_popular_posts id=”” show_category=”true” show_author=”false” show_post_date=”false” style_override=”true” popularity_time_range=”1_day” layout=”thumbnail” show_views=”false” show_comments=”false” async=”true” num_of_posts=”3″]

    I see what you mean, it’s not working correctly.

    I’ll report this bug to the developers team.

    In the meantime is it okay for you to use async=”false” ?

    i cant use “false” as then the thumbnail images do not load. basically, I was calling this shortcode in an ‘exit intent’ pop up, from yr ‘optin fire’ plugin.
    the images load when I click on some other tab in browser and come back again to the above page.

    I see, thumbnails don’t show because Optin Fire popup is hidden when the page is loading.

    When the popup is visible you need to scroll down and the thumbnails will appear automatically.

    A workaround would be to add this code at the bottom of your Optin’s HTML (after the shortcodes):

    <script>jQuery('.nnr-of-wrap').show().css({opacity:0});jQuery(document).scroll();jQuery('.nnr-of-wrap').animate({opacity:1},1,function(){jQuery(this).hide()});</script>

    This should force the thumbnails to load, let me know if it works.

    nope, it doesn’t work. just to try, I also placed it in all possible places in the content.

    desperately waiting for yr developer team to correct it asap.
    thanks

    Please try this instead:

    <script>

    jQuery(function(){
    	jQuery('.nnr-of-wrap').show().css({opacity:0});jQuery(document).scroll();jQuery('.nnr-of-wrap').animate({opacity:1},1,function(){jQuery(this).hide()});
    });

    </script>

    Let me know if it works.

    Sorry, actually, try this:

    <script>

    jQuery(function(){
    	setTimeout("jQuery('.nnr-of-wrap').show().css({opacity:0});jQuery(document).scroll();jQuery('.nnr-of-wrap').animate({opacity:1},1,function(){jQuery(this).hide()});",2e3);
    });

    </script>
