I purchased the Pro plugin this week. It is posting well to Twitter. It’s on a short frequency of 2h2m. It’s also working for LinkedIn which is on the same frequency of 8h2m that I’ve set up for Facebook.
But I am not getting any autosharing to my Facebook wall or Facebook page. If I do it it manually, there is no problem, so I don’t think there is a problem with the setup.
Any suggestions please?May 23, 2016 at 11:25 am #17053
Welcome to the community :)
Could you please check what is the number of Eligible Posts for your Facebook account?
Did you set the Reshare Scheduling to Randomly without duplicates for you Facebook account on CRP?May 23, 2016 at 11:48 am #17054
The number of eligible posts is 237 and I am set to randomly without duplicates.
The problem may be more complex. All of my accounts now seem to fail randomly, whereas as some seem to be working well. I can restart and they’ll continue for a while and then fail again. In addition, some accounts post but fail to update the Last Automatic Reshare information on the dashboard.May 23, 2016 at 12:10 pm #17055
Sounds like there might be some issue with WP Cron Jobs, but still not sure about what could cause that.
Can you provide temporary login credentials so we can check it out?May 23, 2016 at 3:30 pm #17067
Yes, of course.
I just need an email address please for the user.May 23, 2016 at 3:33 pm #17068This reply has been marked as private.May 23, 2016 at 3:35 pm #17069This reply has been marked as private.May 23, 2016 at 3:36 pm #17070
My server is GoDaddy.com, which I think does not allow access to WP Cron, but then the service does seem to be running automatically on occasion.May 28, 2016 at 9:12 am #17139
Hi Franco. Any update please.

If you host doesn’t allow WP Cron then that should be the main cause of the issue, since Content Resharer relies on it.
I will be doing more testing today and I’ll keep you noticed. :)May 30, 2016 at 3:13 pm #17175
GoDaddy do allow me to set actual cron jobs. So if I were to follow the instructions at the following link, would that help? http://support.hostgator.com/articles/specialized-help/technical/wordpress/how-to-replace-wordpress-cron-with-a-real-cron-job
Your plugin has already helped to increase traffic to my site, so I’m keen to make it work!!

Yes, that will probably fix it.May 31, 2016 at 8:48 am #17190
Did you manage to fix Cron Jobs?
Let me know if it worked or if you need any help.May 31, 2016 at 3:56 pm #17203
I think so. The website took most of the day today to get back up and running as I had to upgrade my host’s package to get access to Cron Jobs.
It seems to be working better now, but need a full 24 hours to ensure everything is firing as it should.June 2, 2016 at 7:15 am #17256
All seems good now, thanks.
Not sure if it was coming out of GoDaddy’s Managed WordPress environment or setting a proper Cron Job, but either way, it all seems to be zinging along now.
Thanks for your help.
