OK, I bought Firebar yesterday and overall like it and plan to use it but asked in the Firebar forum about being able to set things such as a timed delay etc. and was referred to either Content Fire or Flyout Fire for that feature.
Having given both those a look over, I decided to buy Content Fire. I’m still playing with the CSS to get my message to look right and I must say, I’m pretty impressed that I can add custom html/css even in titles (text areas). That’s cool!
However, one of the main features I was looking for was the timer effect (including things like exit intentions) so:
1) On your code canyon page – http://codecanyon.net/item/content-fire-custom-ctas-for-wordpress/10987698 – your sales copy says Content Fire has “CTA Triggers – You decide when to show each CTA giving you full control”.
I’m not sure if I’m overlooking this function but I can’t find it.
I am using version 1.1.2 – is there an update or??
2) Again, I like being able to add custom html/css but, I was hoping I could simply have just a plain old html version. I am making due by selecting a CTA (with a button/heading) and I had to do a visibility:hidden for the button as I don’t want it to appear…rather I’m trying to simply use my own html.
So far, I’m managing but again, is the only way to use Content Fire by me needing to pick a pre-configured template? It would be great if there was a plain on “add your own custom html” template if that makes sense. Just curious.
Again, I’m managing to fix things according to my needs by tweaking the CSS (not sure if it will mess up other Content Fire templates but it’s mainly being able to set the timer I was hoping to use.
Thanks and overall, a great plugin! :)

You give great feedback and to answer your question you are 100% correct that the description says there are exit intent triggers for Content Fire. You are also 100% correct that Content Fire currently does not have those features. We are very sorry to mislead you this way and we have sent you an email further explaining this.
If you have any other questions about Content Fire please let us know and we will do our best to help you out :)
