Is it possible to get your WordPress login credentials? This will allow us to figure out the problem much faster. Otherwise we will have to got back and forth testing every possible scenario.

If you don’t want to give us your credentials the next step would be to clear your cache if your using a caching plugin.

I cannot login into your system I get this error.

Forbidden – Visitors from your country are not permitted to browse this site.

Although after having another look at your site using #container for the Main DOM element for clickable area setting should work. Please make sure you include the hashtag. You can also try div#container.

Did you try to use div#container as your Main DOM Element for clickable area? Please follow the directions below to make this change.

    1. Go to your All Ads page then scroll down until you see a box labeled Advanced Settings.
    2. Open this box up and change the setting Main DOM Element for clickable area from body to div#container

Yes, I have tried that and is still labeled with div#container.

    It did not change anything.

It seems that your Contact Form plugin is causing a Javascript error on your site which is causing your background to not be clickable. Can you please try to deactivate this plugin temporarily to see if the background becomes clickable?

I just purchased the the plugin background takeover and have tried loading it on multiple sites. It uploads and I was able to activate it. Once I tried to adding ads there is nothing on the “new ad” page except two tabs. There is no where for me to put the ads or the details. Please advise what I am doing wrong.

    Screenshot of what I see

    Hello Shauntay,

Have you checked for any plugin or theme conflicts? I just double checked and installed the latest version on a fresh install of WordPress and the plugin functions perfectly.

    hi,

    i have installed and activated, and currently cannot get the test ad i created to load on my site;

    affresource.com

Please can you tell me whether this is a template issue, or something i haven’t edited in the advanced settings, not sure what to test first

    thanks

    Hello Dave,

    Welcome to the community :)

Since all themes are built differently and created by various developers, your website structure may be unique compared to most standard WP sites. Luckily, we anticipated such a scenario and it requires a very simple step to address issues with clickable zones or background takeover images being visible for specific WordPress themes. Please follow the instructions below:

    1. Go to your All Ads page and scroll down until you see a box labeled Advanced Settings.
    2. Open this setting box and change the Main DOM Element for clickable area from body to .content-vertical-massive
    3. Click Save Settings.

Please let us know if there is anything else we can help you with today. All the best.

yeah unfortunately that didn’t work, i think it was the wrong container, just trying to find the one it should be but not sure.

that change placed the ad as the background to the content blocks

    thanks

do i need to create a class/element so it only shows once on the page at the top and scrolls down as the user does?

so far it has repeated in the content sections only, think this is the wrong area to be placing it, and yea just can’t figure it out

Ideally you would want to have an element that spans the entire site that the user can click on for the Background Ad. It seems like your theme does not have that element so if you create one that would help.

thanks for confirming – do you have any quick ideas? I know coding, but in the context of fiddling about with wordpress, my confidence is not 100%

Maybe try to add a “container” class to your “#wrapper-content” element then change your Main Dom Element to “#wrapper-content”.
